School for Easter Bunnies
Close to where I live there is a gas station that sells figurines for the garden. One morning passing by, I saw this "teacher" and thought that with Easter coming up, he should open up his school for bunnies on our front porch. A way better place for a school than at a noisy gas station.
Ginger is the new Porch Colour
In my persistent attempt to attract a certain ginger and "homeless" cat to come to our house, I had a recent breakthrough. I found it sleeping, very relaxed on our front porch. However, it still has a strictly no touching policy and I can show you the marks on my hands to prove it. But I am working on it, someday it will happen, I know it.
Front Porch Christmas Decoration
This year the front porch Christmas decoration is all about ribbons and making it cozy for Santa so that he feels comfortable, stays long and leaves a lot of gifts behind for me. You must know I have been very good this year. I tried to set it up like it could be his living room. If he is up for a little skiing he can do that as well.
The Porch is the Living Room
Finally it`s summer. No complaining, just countless days of sunshine. These days, our porch literally becomes the living room. So it needs a proper 'lighting'. I came up with this 'chandelier installation' from a piece of a tree and a vintage bunting. The only thing missing is the cake. But let´s eat healthy for just one day. Enjoy the sun.
Cheesecake on a Porch Swing
Finally I got a porch swing, well, a small one, and you can´t even sit on it but it´s cute and that´s what counts. I ordered a kids swing from the internet, painted the seat turquoise and replaced the plastic cord with a beautiful (but not so safe) hemp rope. Since I can not swing with it anyway, I added some roses and a cheesecake. But the cheesecake won´t last long on it, I promise.
